This
is a ride out which takes you over Bigland Fells and through some stunning Lake
District countryside. The ride goes over varied terrain and provides several opportunities
to canter (more nervous riders can remain at a trot if they prefer).
For the more advanced and adventurous riders, an extended Fell Ride goes over
more challenging terrain and provides more opportunities to canter.
The
standard fell ride lasts for approximately 2 hours and the extended fell ride
lasts for approximately 3 hours for which we make a small additional charge.

Note:
All
riders are asked to wear long trousers, sturdy shoes or boots and a hat (available
from Bigland Hall).
All riders must be
over the age of 8 and be able to trot, canter and deal with traffic and gates.
All riders must complete a rider registration form and may be asked to demonstrate
their ability before going on the ride. |
